Hello, my name is Tanner Wood. I am the owner of RedPhotoStudios. 

People ask me "what got you into photography?"

When I was little I would use my mom's hp point and shoot, I would go out and take photos of everything. When I was 8 years old I went to my sister's wedding. My grandmother gave the grandkids (around six of them at the time) a disposable Kodak film camera to keep us all distracted and entertained at the wedding. When I received my camera I went around taking photos just like the rest of the children. When we got the photos back from the developer most of the photos were blurry and not usable. Until they got to my photos. I had gone around taking photos of the centerpieces, different people, and the decorations. Most of which had not been photographed by the hired photographer. Most of my photos taken that day are still in that wedding photo album. 

The birthday after the wedding I received a Nikon Coolpix point and shoot camera. I took as many photos as I could with that camera filling the SD card over and over again. Years later I would receive a Nikon D3200 and start my company RedPhotoStudios in 2015.

Now 5 years later I book weddings around the state, photograph beautiful homes, started my vlog, use a Nikon D750, fly a drone, and take on photography and cinematography jobs that I would have never dreamed of. 

 This is my passion!
